Guidel celebrates the Irish! Discover the artists who will exhibit their creations from 23rd to 25th May 2023 at the Salle de l’Estran.
On the Irish side, the Guidel – Carrigaline Twinning Committee is ready to introduce you to diverse and varied artists. Indeed, you will be the first to see the French translation of Jim Kelly’s book, which is sure to delight both young and old. For lovers of natural products, you can find beeswax candles. And some photographs taken by Jim Kelly! Painters of different styles will also be offering their conceptions.
For these artists, it is their first exhibition in Guidel. It’s time to discover these unique works in a setting that highlights the creativity of the artists.
Art gallery in Carrigaline
In 2022, the travelers from Guidel to Carrigaline visited the local art gallery and that’s where the idea of developing this exhibition was born. An openness to art, another common cultural point with our friends from the Emerald Isle.
The Arts: an opening towards tomorrow
Guidel and Carrigaline have found a new shared passion that will hopefully allow us to envisage future meetings rich in these creations of art. When is there a common artistic challenge? Let’s take on a new challenge!
The Carrigaline Twinning Committee is very active and diverse in its cultural approaches. In recent years, exchanges have transformed, become more targeted and allowed for new categories of people who would never have met to discover common interests.
The association brings together passionate amateur photographers. They share their experiences, and so they continue to progress together.
The members of the association are both beginners and experienced photographers. If currently, the practice of most members is turning to digital photography, a group of diehards continues to keep film technology alive.
Find them during the exhibition at l’Estran!
